Sciant's e-Government project is No. 1 in Bulgaria

The ISPA Management Information System (ISPA MIS) developed by Sciant, has been nominated for the World Summit Award Global Contest (http://www.wsis-award.org) as the best e-Content example in e-Government from Bulgaria.

The ISPA Management Information System (https://ispa.minfin.bg) is an innovative internet-based solution developed for the Bulgarian Ministry of Finance. It eases significantly the document and work flow processes involved in the Ministry projects.

The system keeps track of all activities during an ISPA project's lifetime, including specific phases and stages, document libraries, powerful reporting, notifications and public access.

Sciant designed, developed and implemented the Management Information System with the minimum disruption. It got deeply involved in the specifics of the various ISPA projects to understand how they worked and how the user expectations could be fulfilled.

ISPA has central management of its whole processes. The e-solution developed by Sciant has provided:
- A central storage for all information related to ISPA programs throughout Bulgaria.
- A mechanism to manage permissions of ISPA users and access they have to different information stored in the system.
- Reporting capabilities, with rich functionality for filtering, sorting and grouping.
- A collaboration improvement system.
- Public access - more public visibility over activities performed as part of the ISPA program.
- Increased flexibility and speed with a reduced possibility of error in the communication process.
