Bulgarian IT company
top ten in Europe
A Bulgarian IT company has been named as
one of the top ten innovators in Europe,
according to a book that will be published
later in the year.
Scaint, which is based in Sofia, has beaten
hundreds of other European companies and
been included in a book entitled 'BestPractice-IT
2005'.
Only ten European Companies have made it
into the book, which is compiled by BestPractice-IT's
German editors.
Sciant has also been nominated for the
BestPractice-IT Award 2005 which will be
announced at the prestigious CeBit trade
show in Hanover, next month.
Business development partner Andrey Bachvarov
said that the book's editors liked the slick
way that Sciant used innovative management
procedures to control its software projects.
"These practices made life easier for the
client, made Sciant incredibly efficient
and meant that costs could be reduced,"
he said. "It also meant our developers were
free to be more creative in our projects."
Bachvarov said that the award showed that
Bulgarian companies could compete with the
best in the world, provided that they adopted
the latest best practice management systems.
"We have some of the most skilled IT innovators
in the world, if systems are put in place
it gives them a chance to shine," he said.
